【Title】Full-spectrum LED screen-bar lighting as an adjunct to artificial tears in visual display terminal-related dry eye: a randomized study

【Abstract】This prospective, randomized, single-center study assigned 66 participants with newly diagnosed visual display terminal-related dry eye to full-spectrum screen-bar lighting plus artificial tears or artificial tears alone for one month. The intervention group showed greater improvement in Ocular Surface Disease Index scores (adjusted between-group difference, −7.33; P = 0.042), while changes in non-invasive tear breakup time and other objective ocular surface parameters did not differ significantly between groups. No study-related adverse events were reported, and further studies are needed to confirm the findings.
