01 Focusing on the Academic Frontier, Discussing New Progress in Dry Eye Diagnosis and Treatment

In golden October, experts gathered in Shanghai. From October 23 to 25, the 12th National Dry Eye Academic Conference and the 2026 National Cornea and Ocular Surface Disease Academic Annual Meeting were grandly held at the Shanghai Fuyue Hotel.
Hosted by the Ophthalmology Committee of the Cross-Strait Medical and Health Exchange Association, the conference focused on basic research and clinical progress in the fields of cornea, ocular surface, and tear diseases. It gathered ophthalmic experts and industry peers from China and abroad to jointly explore new technologies, methods, and trends in the diagnosis and treatment of dry eye and ocular surface diseases.
As an enterprise dedicated to the R&D and innovation of high-end ophthalmic medical devices, HWBIO presented the MeiboRevive™ Vectored Thermal Pulsation System series at this academic event, exploring innovative paths for dry eye diagnosis and treatment together with ophthalmic peers.
02 Booth Popularity Heats Up, Dry Eye Treatment Solutions Draw Great Attention

At the exhibition, HWBIO's MeiboRevive™ Vectored Thermal Pulsation System series was showcased, attracting the attention of many attending ophthalmic peers.
Meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD) is one of the important contributing factors of evaporative dry eye. Targeting clinical issues such as abnormal meibomian gland lipid secretion and gland obstruction, vectored thermal pulsation technology provides a new physical treatment option for the management of MGD-related dry eye by combining thermal application with pulsed massage.
HWBIO continues to carry out product R&D and technology optimization around actual clinical needs, committed to providing professional dry eye treatment equipment for ophthalmic medical institutions and helping to further enrich and improve dry eye diagnosis and treatment solutions.
03 In-Depth On-Site Exchanges, Intuitive Experience of Vectored Thermal Pulsation Technology

To allow attendees to understand product performance more intuitively, HWBIO set up a dedicated experience zone for the MeiboRevive™ Vectored Thermal Pulsation System at its booth, building a three-dimensional interactive model of 'technical explanation + hands-on demonstration + on-site experience.' The senior technical team explained the system's technical principles, clinical application advantages, applicable scenarios, and operating protocols throughout the event.
Physicians who experienced it on-site stated that the system is easy to operate and comfortable for treatment, effectively addressing pain points in clinical dry eye diagnosis and treatment, and helping to improve diagnosis and treatment efficiency and patient satisfaction. The atmosphere for on-site consultations and business discussions was lively.
04 Starting from Clinical Practice, Dr. Lei Tang Invited for a Keynote Presentation

On the morning of October 25, at the 12th National Dry Eye Academic Conference, Dr. Lei Tang, Founder of HWBIO, was invited to deliver a keynote speech titled 'Designing, Manufacturing, and Refining Safe, Reliable, Effective, and User-Centered Ophthalmic Medical Devices Based on Clinical Needs and Human Factors Engineering.'
Starting from the FDA Human Factors Engineering guidance and combining it with ophthalmic clinical practice, Dr. Tang deeply analyzed the design logic of medical devices at three levels: 'safety and error prevention, cognitive load reduction, and emotional resonance.' Taking the R&D and iteration of HWBIO's product, the MeiboRevive™ Vectored Thermal Pulsation System, as an example, he shared how detailed designs—such as dual independent temperature control systems and S/M/L three-specification (SMILE consumables)—assign critical tasks to the machine, making the correct operation the most natural action. He emphasized: 'What can be solved by design should not be pushed to training; what can be handed to the machine should not be left to human hands.'
This sharing not only demonstrated HWBIO's solid practice in the field of human factors engineering but also conveyed its continuous iteration philosophy that 'market launch is not the end point; clinical feedback is the starting point for the next generation of products.' In the future, HWBIO will continue to take clinical pain points as its origin, creating more innovative ophthalmic products that are safe, reliable, effective, and welcomed by both physicians and patients.
05 Deepening Dry Eye Diagnosis and Treatment, Joining Hands to Safeguard Eye Health
From technological R&D to clinical application, HWBIO has always adhered to a clinical-needs-oriented approach, continuously deepening its presence in the ophthalmic medical device field, and advancing product innovation and application exploration around the diagnosis and treatment needs of dry eye and ocular surface diseases.
On October 25, the 12th National Dry Eye Academic Conference successfully concluded. During the three-day event, HWBIO presented the MeiboRevive™ Vectored Thermal Pulsation System series at Booth B9+B10 on the 3rd floor, engaging in in-depth exchanges with numerous ophthalmic experts, clinicians, and industry partners regarding dry eye diagnosis and treatment technologies and clinical needs. We thank every colleague who visited our booth, participated in the experience, and engaged in discussions. Although the conference has ended, HWBIO's steps in deeply cultivating the dry eye treatment field will continue. In the future, we will respond to clinical needs with technological innovation, help improve the level of dry eye diagnosis and treatment, and safeguard national eye health.
