Recently, HWBIO’s independently developed MeiboRevive™ Vectored Thermal Pulsation System has officially obtained the medical device registration certificate issued by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) of Australia.
This achievement indicates that the MeiboRevive™ Vectored Thermal Pulsation System has met the regulatory requirements for medical devices in Australia, laying a solid foundation for HWBIO’s further expansion into the Australian market and other international markets.
The MeiboRevive™ Vectored Thermal Pulsation System focuses on a major underlying cause of evaporative dry eye disease—Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD). Through the synergistic effect of precise thermal application and pulsatile massage, the system helps promote the expression of meibomian gland secretions and improve meibomian gland function, providing an innovative solution for comprehensive clinical management of dry eye disease.

The Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) is recognized globally as one of the most stringent regulatory authorities for medicines and medical devices. The successful registration of the MeiboRevive™ Vectored Thermal Pulsation System demonstrates that its safety, effectiveness, and quality standards have met the rigorous requirements of TGA regulations.
The MeiboRevive™ Vectored Thermal Pulsation System has currently obtained regulatory approvals in China, Canada, and Australia. HWBIO is actively advancing registration processes in New Zealand, Singapore, and other international markets.
The successful achievement of TGA registration is an important milestone in HWBIO’s global development strategy. Going forward, HWBIO will continue to accelerate product registration and commercialization in key markets worldwide, enhance the accessibility of innovative ophthalmic treatment technologies, and provide more dry eye patients with high-quality treatment options.
